·         What types of ads are found on TallyAds.com?

TallyAds.com has more employment, general merchandise, pets & livestock, real estate, services and vehicle ads in Jackson, Calhoun, Franklin, Liberty, Gadsden, Decatur, Grady, Thomas, Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Madison & Taylor Counties than any other website or print publication.  Private parties, franchise & independent car dealers and businesses advertise with us.  In order to assist you in finding the car, merchandise or service you are looking for, we have searches by year, make & model for cars and keywords for everything else.

 

• Does the vehicle pricing/payments include tax, title, plates or other costs?

The Vehicle pricing from the Dealers’ does not include tax, title & plates, where it’s applicable.  Also, advertised payments are based on Tier 1 Credit.

 

·         Where are the advertisers on TallyAds.com located?

Most of the advertisers, both private party and commercial, are located in Jackson, Calhoun, Franklin, Liberty, Gadsden, Decatur, Grady, Thomas, Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Madison & Taylor Counties.  TallyAds.com & The Tallahassee Advertiser publication are the industry leaders in connecting buyers and sellers with our vast array of effective classified ads. 

 

When browsing the ads in any category, you can supply your zip code and sort the ads based on the distance from your location.

 

·         Am I buying merchandise from TallyAds.com?

NO - TallyAds.com & The Tallahassee Advertiser publication are online and print advertising media, which bring together buyers and sellers. TallyAds.com & The Tallahassee Advertiser publication do not own or sell anything that is advertised.

 

·         Do any of the services or merchandise on TallyAds.com come with a warranty or guarantee?

Warranties or guarantees provided by the sellers may be available for the services or merchandise on TallyAds.com.  In some cases, extended warranties may be purchased from third parties.  The Tallahassee Advertiser does not directly provide any warranties or guarantees.  To find out more information about a warranty or guarantee options, please contact the seller.

Placing An Ad

 

·         What types of ads are available on TallyAds.com?

Photo ads and classified (without photos) ads are available to private parties.  All ads will run for the number of weeks specified when placing an ad.   We reserve the right to limit, edit or reject any/all copy which conflicts, in our opinion, with the established objectives of the publication/website. In addition, we assume no responsibility for the authenticity, validity and /or reliability of any advertising or of the advertiser placing such ads in any of our publications or website. No portion of the publication or website may be reproduced, photographically, electronically or by any other means, without the express consent of the publisher.

 

 

• How long will my ad run?

Photo ads appear online (with up to 4 photos) and in The Tallahassee Advertiser publication for at least three weeks (depending on when the ad is submitted).  Classified ads appear online and in the printed publication for at least three weeks (depending on the advertising package chosen).

 

 

·         What is the deadline to place my ad online?

All ads submitted online between Monday and Friday noon will be included on TallyAds.com within 24-72 hours.  Ads submitted online after Friday noon will appear on TallyAds.com no later than Monday noon.

 

Ads placed online by Monday 5:00 p.m. will appear in Thursday’s issue of The Tallahassee Advertiser. 

 

• Why do the online categories differ from the print categories?

The website categories allow easier browsing for the user in a website environment with different category navigation and the ability to search.  The Tallahassee Advertiser publication has more categories to fit the parameters of a reader-friendly advertising publication.  Every classified ad in The Tallahassee Advertiser publication will appear online.  Likewise, all items advertised on TallyAds.com will appear in The Tallahassee Advertiser publication. 

 

·         How much do ads cost?

Photo ads (up to 25 words) begin at only $30.00, and run for four weeks online or until sold and in the The Tallahassee Advertiser publication. The ad must be renewed (free renewal) every four weeks! 

 

Classified ads (up to 15 words without a photo) are free.  All ads will appear in The Tallahassee Advertiser publication and on TallyAds.com for maximum coverage.

 

·         When does my ad go “live” online?

All ads submitted online between Monday and Friday noon will be included on TallyAds.com within 24-72 hours.  Ads submitted online after Friday noon will appear on TallyAds.com no later than Monday noon.

 

Ads submitted by Monday at 5:00 p.m. will also appear in that Thursday's edition of The Tallahassee Advertiser.

 

·         Will my online ad run in The Tallahassee Advertiser?

YES - To gain the most exposure for your ad, all ads placed online will run in The Tallahassee Advertiser publication.

 

·         How do I renew my ad?

Any ad placed online may be renewed by logging in to My Account and going to the specific ad in My Ads.

 

·         Will you remind me to renew my online ad?

YES – We will remind you to renew your ad at least 72 hours before your ad expires.  If you provided your email address when placing your ad you will receive email renewal reminders before your ads expire.

 

·         How do I change or cancel my ad?

Any ad placed online may be modified or cancelled by logging in to My Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads.

 

Changes and cancellations made to online ads between Monday and Friday noon will be effective online within 24-72 hours.  Changes and cancellations made after Friday noon will be effective no later than Monday noon.  Changes and cancellations made to online ads prior to Monday 5:00 p.m. will appear in that Thursday's edition of The Tallahassee Advertiser. Refunds will not be given.

 

 

·         Do you guarantee that my ad will be successful?

Although we strongly believe that TallyAds.com & The Tallahassee Advertiser publication offer the best advertising value in the Big Bend Area, we cannot guarantee results.

 

·         What types of payment do you accept? 

We accept Visa & MasterCard for ads placed online.  We also accept cash, checks and money orders if you are visiting our office or mailing in payment for your ad.  We do not recommend mailing cash.  Please make sure to include the completed Private Party Ad Form when mailing in your payment.

 

·         Is my credit card information secure?

Using your credit card at TallyAds.com is completely safe.  We use an advanced encryption technology that safeguards your personal information and ensures your privacy as it travels over the internet.  We also maintain a certificate with Thawte that serves as an electronic substitute for your signature.

 

·         What is your refund policy?

We are not responsible for errors made by customers. If you make an error in an ad placed online, you may correct or modify your ad by logging in to My Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads.  Likewise, you may cancel any ad placed online by going to My Ads in My Account.

 

We do not issue refunds for ads.  If we make a material error in your ad, we will give you a credit toward the purchase of future advertising.

 

·         What is the best way to photograph my vehicle or item(s) for sale?

If possible, please use a digital camera to get the best quality photo for both online and print.  A plain background such as trees or a wall will work best.  Photos taken with film may be scanned and uploaded, but the online photo quality may not be as good as digital photos.  Please do not stand too close to the item that you are shooting.  

 

If you are photographing a vehicle, the best shot of your vehicle is a simple 3/4 shot taken with a digital camera.  See the examples below:

·         What if I do not have a digital camera or a scanner?

If you are unable to upload a photo of your vehicle to TallyAds.com, we offer several options. 

 

(1)     If you are unable to upload a photo of your vehicle to TallyAds.com, you may bring your vehicle to our office and we will take a photo for you at no additional cost. The Tallahassee Advertiser is located at 3471 North Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303.  Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Directions to our office are available using mapquest.com.

 

(2)     You may mail photos of your vehicle, together with your payment and the completed Private Party Ad Form, to: 3471 North Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32303

 

·         Do I have to register to place an ad on TallyAds.com? 

YES - We need to be able to communicate with you if you are placing an ad on TallyAds.com.  Registration is quick, easy and free.  Registered members have access to several advanced features:
